Headliner for around $30
I was tagging along with my wife at JoAnn's Fabrics store and noticed that they carry headliner material for $15 a linear yard which was 36"X48". This is exactly what size I needed for the headliner but I didn't want to chance it and bought 2 yards just in case. They had a coupon in their weekly flyer and it only cost me $11 a yard. I bought a small trim paint roller from the dollar store to smooth it out and a can of Permatex headliner adhesive. After tearing off the old headliner, it was rough and uneven. So I decided to put an underliner of leftover weedblocker from an old gardening project. This gave me a good smooth surface to glue onto. I gotta say that I was real happy with the results and saved a lot of money to boot.

hey sixgun, good deal.
i made my headliner out of black woven speaker grill material.

Hey AJE,
Do you by chance do any welding? I'm just about ready to extend that front bumper forward. I bought a second set of bumper brackets and now I need to get some metal to connect them. I don't know if I want to use box tubing or angle iron. The guy that did my exhaust did a pretty good job with some real clean welds. He builds all kinds of stuff on the side. I might just hit him up on a price to do it. Initially I was just gonna put on a gap guard and then I thought about a small brush guard and then some light mounts. My simple project suddenly became complicated.
