if there is a tiny bit of a lip on the drum it would be a good idea to see if the can be turn but if there is no lip or scoring on the braking surface then they would probably be ok with a new set of shoes. drums can last a long time. after working on my dads rear brakes the other day i am thinking about buying him new drum and shoes for his birthday with the condition his are in.
