I have 89 dodge ram 4x4 w150 5.2L 318. I have no acceleration I press the gas pedal to the floor and it dies but idles fine I just replaced the fuel filter and lines and the pump has good pressure. Where might I turn to next? I am no Machanic but have to fix it myself due to very low funds. Can someone help me please?

Look in the throttle body and check the injector spray patterns. There should be a fine cone of fuel at the base of both injectors that reaches the sides of the throat of the throttle body with no gaps or streams. You may need to use a flashlight to see the cones.

Stephen: You are new to the site but highjacking a thread is bad etiquette. You should start your own thread for each new problem. If your 92 is stock with a stock computer there is very little you can change including the cam and still have it run acceptably.
