cam choices
so im doing a rebuild on my 86 dodge d100 soon
im wanting a cam in it...heres my 2 choices

i plan on running headers,intake/4bbl carb as well on it
just want a good sounding idle, and some more power
will be stock springs etc as well

i don't know a lot about cams but i was told if you are just installing something like an RV cam you should be ok with the stock springs. it is funny that i was looking at that exact same cam. they also offer that cam in a package with lifters. if you replace the cam it would also be wise to replace the timing chain and gears.

well i use the truck for work an some travel...mostly around town an stuff...so both cams will work with stock springs i assume?
