i don't know a lot about cams but i was told if you are just installing something like an RV cam you should be ok with the stock springs. it is funny that i was looking at that exact same cam. they also offer that cam in a package with lifters. if you replace the cam it would also be wise to replace the timing chain and gears.

What are you planning to use the truck for? I would go for the 6900 for lower end torque, power, and gas mileage but that is because mine is a work truck. If you want a slight lope do the 6901. JMHO

it looks like you could use either cam with stock springs. i agree with SEAL. i would probably get the 6900 cam. it is the exact one i was looking at getting for my 81 when i get that far. just make sure whichever route you go replace the lifters.

Stock springs are OK with either cam but I would check to see if their free length is still within specs if you are planning to reuse your old ones. This is especially important if you believe they are original equipment.

Sealed Power bearings are fine. I have used them for over 40 years in many engines with no problems.
