does anyone know where to buy the padding and or under hood insulated pad?? is it available,or do they sell it in a bulk roll to cut your own?? thank you

 

Just curious why you would put a sweater on your motor with all this heat?

In any case, JC Whitney catalog shows some rolls of heat/sound insulation made out of 3/8" fiber tech padding with fiberglass reinforcement that you trim to fit. Says it's fire retardant. Probably would look better with the OEM buttons to hold it up.

 

hey sixgun, well it may protect the paint on the hood from bubbling,when i get it painted that is.just all gray primer with clear over it for now.
just sold my 2006 dakota this past monday so i can fund my 93 ram build-up. thanks
