The injectors are firing when it is running but are they firing while you are trying to start it? If the injectors are firing during start-up pouring fuel in the throttle body should not help it start.

Did you try bypassing the ASD relay? I do not have a wiring diagram for an 88 but in the 89 the ASD coil is activated by 2 separate circuits.

More information from you gives me more possibilities. A problem that can occur when the computer is replaced is a displaced or bent pin when the connector is reinstalled.

Why would you be sorry you are from the south?

Wink

The reason I said I was sorry for being from the south was because I confused someone by saying "crank". Not bypassed the ASD, will try that and let you know what happens. The computer was not the problem. They replaced it and it still wouldn't start, found a burnt wire. Fixed the wire, put the old computer back in and it is the same with both computers. If I don't get it fixed this weekend, I have a guy that is gonna come get it and (charge me an arm and a leg) and fix it. Will keep you all posted. Thanks for the help!
