1984 dodge w150 headlights not working

Default 1984 dodge w150 headlights not working

Can you all help me out i have a multimeter but no cords so cant check if they are getting power to the actual lights, but the two lamps down below work fine. i bought the replacement lamp all of 7bucks at wallyworld it didnt work so, its got to be a wiring issue or something any help will be much obliged.

Default tested it

i guess yall cant help thanks,i tested it out no voltage at the plugs, the head light are good i put my power meter on them and they illuminate. traced the wires in to the cab, but there is three red wire in the same bundle not good ill have to tone on out and see how it goes thanks for looking helpers.

have you checked for power at the fuse?

First invest a couple of bucks in new probes for your meter and get a wiring diagram. The headlights and parking lights are separate circuits and therefore tell you nothing about a problem with the other. Possible problems that need to be checked are fuses, dimmer switch, headlight switch, and wiring in that order until you find out where you are losing power.

Default fuse

i have pull the fuse when the parking light were on and they went off leading me to think, im going to have to check where the cross connect through the fire wall, thanks for your help i may just re-wire it myself. To ensure its done correctly/.
