It looks comfortable, but doesnt the design of the sear force you to sit closer to the steering wheel? The seat backs look pretty thick.

I was thinking about doing the same with my truck but I have pretty long legs and almost need my bench to go back more as it is.

yea, its a little closer than the bench seat, but for me for now its fine.
someday if i need to change anything, its just a minor adjustment. yes it is way more comfortable than any new vehicle seats, all the new trucks have dam hard seats. thank you

That came out real nice. Looks comfortable! Really fills up that cab. So it looks like you made a box frame and used the bench seat holes.

I know it's a little off topic but how's the AC holding up?

hey sixgun, yea they are comfortable, and i did use the original bench seat holes. the a/c had a leak at the drier, but i tightened it up,and added some freon and its all good even in all this heat we are having.
i wish i could upgrade the blower motor somehow to blow harder like the newer trucks,my high does work but my hemi ram and dakota i recently had they blew much harder on high. thank you

That looks good. I may have to look for a set for mine. The only problem I see is space. I'm 6'3" with extremely long legs, so it might be a little close.

Heck Aje, it looks so comfortable that all you need is a TV in there to complete the Man Cave. A little ice in the console and ready to go!

Honey, I'll be in the truck watching the game...
