anybody have posi in their trucks? or know if a company makes them for our trucks, would posi form 2nd and 3rd gen ram work?

your truck should have a limited slip differential,in it from the factory.
is this what you mean by saying posi??

It was an extra cost option. They called "sure grip" I believe.

You could try checking your equipment tag sticker either under the front edge of your hood or on the driver's door jamb.

You have to jack up the rear wheels and spin one of them and look to see if the opposite rear wheel spins and if so it would spin in the same direction if you have posi. Limited slip is not posi. "Sure-Grip" is Chryslers term for posi. Another way to tell if you have Sure-Grip is to look at the differential case through the filler hole with a flashlight. If it is Sure-Grip you will see coil springs. There are several companies that make posi for our trucks.

well posi definition is vague,cause it says when both spin not just one.

i was just wondering on that,cause i have limited slip and if i mash the gas pedal down from a dead stop,it leaves 2 equal lenth patches of rubber.
