Farm find - need help!
Hello, I am new to this forum.
Today I bought a 1993 D250 truck off a farm in Missouri. The owners bought it 5 years ago & used it on their farm & never licensed it. They bought it at an auction from a university in southern Missouri. It had been used as a groundskeeping truck there since it was new & was NEVER LICENSED! So it has never been licensed since it was new!
The good news - it only has 37,xxx miles on it! I only paid $800 for it!
The bad news - it looks like a farm truck & a groundskeeping truck. It still has reminents of the decals the university put on the doors, & the body & bed are beat up pretty bad.
I need to find body parts. Doors, fenders, hood, & bed.
From what I can tell, parts from 1986 to 1993 will fit on it. Is this correct? I hope so because parts should be easy to find if they will fit that many years.
Thanks for your help

i don't see any difference in the body between my 81 d150 and my 91 d150 except for the cab mounts and rad support/grille but you could still swap the cab but to change grilles you would have to change rad supports.
since your truck also has a magnum engine you may want to read through this

probably not but it is good to know so that you can if it ever happens you know or so you can fix it ahead of time when you have some money and time.
i think the newer 8 lug rims will fit. i think almost every chevy, dodge or ford 8 lug rims has the same size bolt pattern but the hole in the middle is different. i forget which ones will fit which but i think it might just be easier to find some newer dodge rims.
