Default 318 2bj timing 1986

im a new member looking for a solution to a timing problem with my 86 dodge w250 i have changed all the tune up parts and rebuilt the carb. i canot see the timing mark on the engine damper with a strobe timing light the truck will run but not very well could it have jumped time? thanks

the best way to be able to see them is mark them when the engine is not running. you could use white out or paint or anything that would stick in the tdc marking.
