Default 91 idle problem

Ive got a 1991 dodge ram W150 that Ive been trying to tune up and I ran into a snag. Replaced the battery, alternator (120 watt) and ECM in hopes of getting a better charge. But now I cant get the thing to idle at all. She starts fine, but will run for about 15 seconds and die. If you hit the throttle shes fine, but as soon as you let off she dies. I dont know if I have to program the ECM or something, but any help would be great.

The ECM is not programable. Are you sure the new ECM is an exact model numbers match?

Double check that you do not have any vacumn leaks that you may have inadvertantly caused while working on it.

You can reset\relearn the idle; you can find the procedure here: http://ramchargercentral.com/media/?sa=item;in=1135

The information is not much good if they won't let you access the site.

Sorry about that...the site is free to join but I will upload the images this afternoon. I tried to upload them here but they are to big. I do not have any way to re-size the images here at work but can do them from home later.

Ill have to give that a try. Called down to the dealership today for answers and they told me that they have no idea how to fix it and a mechanic will not talk to me...less than useless.

That was my first thought, checked all my vacuum lines and nothing.
