Suggestions Engine Swap
Removed a slant 6 w/ 3 speed trans from my 74 D100 step side. Want to replace with a 318 or 360 w/ auto trans. Will I have to move the trans mount? Is the wiring harness the same? Thanks

Hey.. you will have to make sure that the engine mounts are marked A or B if they are your V8 will drop in no problem but not sure if the bell housing is the same to bolt to a V8 and your wire harness you may wanna change the ignition to a electronic from a 80's system for your V8
