Well I guess I will reply to my own thread here. THe answer is yes it will work with a lot of modification. THe summit shifter is much shorter than the stock hurst shifter so it takes a little extra reach to shift. It is also alot tighter the gears seem closer together. I mounted the plate that came with the kit after drill pressing holes in the stock plate. Then mounted shifter. THe threaded linkage rods that came with the kit had to be bent to function. Also the boot/cover just barely fits...
