Default strange squeaking

Just a few days ago I started hearing this strange squeaking sound. Not sure what it is, took it to the shop and the serpentine belt just happened to squeak when they looked at it so they said it was that although I know its not. I believe its coming from the rear end. It only squeaks when Im giving it gas in gear.

this is on a 92 w150

If it sounds like a squeak, squeak, squeak.... and as you accelerate it gets faster with speed it's a u-joint that's bad. At this point you might not feel any play in it until the needle bearings finish disintegrating and fall out. You can remove the driveshaft and see if the u-joints move freely. Better to spend a little time checking rather than spitting out the driveshaft on the road!

Thanks again. You were right. Both my rear u-joints were shot.
