Default 1985 Ram electrical issues

Hey guys, so I am having some issues in my 85 318 2wd Ram. I seem to have a shortage of electrical power. For example, the battery starts the truck just fine, but once I am moving, my stereo will cut in and out whenever I hit the brakes. Also, if the headlights are on, they are really dim, and amplify the brake/stereo not working. I have replaced the battery, alternator, voltage regulator, and ignition switch and am still having this proble. I am at a complete loss for what may be happening. No matter what I try, I cant track down the gremlin. Anyone else have issues like this, and what did you do to resolve the issue?
Thanks a lot,
David

does the amp gauge move much? i would probably try running a jumper wire from the large lug on the to the battery terminal. this should bypass the amp gauge which i think could be limiting the voltage getting to all the electrical things. you could also put your headlights on relays.

Come to think of it, the ammeter rarely, if ever actually moves at all... What do I do to bypass this? A jumper cable from the large lug on what?
