Default covering dash

Has anyone had their dash covered in vinyl or leather or something? I want to change the interior a little, get ride of as much plastic as possible. Just wondering If anyone else has done it.

Exactly what is wrong with your dash? The reason I ask is there is no after market support for changing our interiors so the only options are repair or make something else fit where possible. Most problems can be repaired with the right materials.

Nothing is wrong with it. Its in pretty good shape just repainted it to change the color from red to charcoal. Just thought I could cover it to give it a different appearance instead of just the hard plastic.

You could throw an old moving blanket on it, that would give it a different appearance. LOL. Sorry I couldn't stop myself. I know of nothing out there like that that fits our trucks.

No I have not seen that site before.

Could the metal dashes be swapped in place from an older truck. As far as I know the inside of the cabs aren't that different.

My Ram is an '85.

Looks like they can be dyed to order.
