Apparently I didn't look close enough inside the Carb till now... only one side is spraying fuel, other side is doing nothing. Is this an external adjustment or can i easily pull off top of Carb to fix? Place that rebuilt it for me can't look till later next week and if its something simple I'd just assume do it now.

is that only 1 side spraying fuel when it is running or when you pump the gas? if it is when you pump the gas that sound normal and should be more than enough to get the truck running unless the choke is not set to where it need to be to start.

If only one side is squirting fuel one of the passages is obstructed. If they did that lousy of a job rebuilding the carb I would be raising cane with them. If you pull that carb apart they will rightfully wash their hands of the problem and you will be on your own. I would take the truck down to their shop and tell every one of their customers what shoddy work they do and show it off. That will get their attention. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I installed Carb with new gaskets. It sprays out 1 side hot or cold, and when running appears to be spraying good on both sides. Its a manual choke and is supposed to set correctly, butterfly completely open when pushed in and closed with a gap of about a pencil when pulled. As far as the pull off assembly Im not sure...

to me it almost sounds like the carb is working correctly. maybe you should try testing how much power you are getting at the coil when it is turning over. it should be 12v but if voltage between the run position and start position does not change then that might be your problem.

Wanted to give an update. After a couple hours of research on internet, made adjustments to metering rods and now sprays both sides when cold. Starts perfectly every time now, shop who did rebuild claims they were set to factory specs but??? I appreciate the info though, thanks
