Default What model truck is this? VIN included.

I am attempting to help my mom out with her truck. Its a 1987 Dodge "LE 150". VIN number is 1B7FD14T2HS417337.

I have attempted to search google, and various forums without success. My goal is to discover what steering columns will bolt into my mom's truck. I am also unsure as to what exact model the truck is. I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

In short, its a d150. Steering columns from about 80 to the advent of airbags (91? 92?) for a d150, d250, d350 should be the same, I would guess. I'm not sure if the 4x4 w150-w250-w350 used the same part. Make sure you get the right auto or manual column.

i think the big thing would be where is the dimmer switch located? if it is on the floor you will most likely have to locate a steering column that is 87 or older and if the dimmer switch is on the steering column then you will most like likely need a 87-93. i think the steering column up to 93 would also work but the connector for turn signals light and stuff is different so you would most likely have to do some splicing. i am almost certain the ignition connector is the same so that should be plug and play.

You need to also be sure if the truck has cruise control or not and if it is tilt or solid column.
