With the number of problems I have heard related to that system, my recommendation would be to replace the lean burn system if that is what you have.

Hi,
Got her running. Converted to electronic ignition system.
She won't idle though!'
What to do?

i would guess if its not idling then the carb may need to be tuned or adjusted. what exactly is it doing?

Starts up fine, but need to keep foot on gas, otherwise stops running.
Havent had too much time to mess with carb adj. or timing yet. Seems to run fairly smooth though.
