Default tires rubbing

i have a 93 w150 and it currently has a 5 inch superlift lift kit and my 38x15 are going to rub so i was wondering if i could put a 3 inch body lift in it and would it clear my 38's? and do i need to extend anything like steering, break likes, vacuum lines? and i really do not want to extend any of them so before i go and order the body lift i was wondering if anybody has put a 3 inch body lift in and has anybody needed to extend anything??

thanks,
cam

Oh where to start...body lifts are not an ideal way to fix anything.

What is your plan for this truck? Mall crawler, off-road use only?

With a 3" body lift you will have to do allot of work:
Shift Linkage, Steering Shaft, fuel filler hose, brake lines, your fan will hit the shroud (and don't run without one), possibly some wiring and vacuum lines as well.

Also check your state\local laws about bumper and headlight height laws.

If your body mounts are not in very very good condition be prepared for them to just break off on a sharp turn after a while I have seen it happen!

38's are way to large for your D44\9.25 axles and brakes...you should find D60's for tires that size even for a mall crawler just to be safe.
