So I got some plain black painted headers. Took them out of the box and there is a massive gouge in the one tube that goes almost all the way through. Looks like someone dropped the angle grinder on it, then painted over it. I am going to return them and get another pair. My question is, should I spend the extra 100 bucks on ceramic coated ones or just get another pair of black painted ones? Is the ceramic coating really worth the extra money?

Ps, they are long tube headers not short tube.

Ive heard ceramic ones are better due to reduced heat but im not sure if its that big of a deal.
