After getting everything finished on my truck I found a strange tick coming from the left side of the lower part of the engine bay. It's not fast and it's constant. Could it be an exhaust tick? Like a leak in the exhaust? Manifold? Pipe? Since it's one side I assume it's not any part of the engine. Can anyone help?

 

could be. does it sound like it is coming from cylinder number 1 or 8? i know my 81 had a gasket on the end of the one manifold that caused a tick after i cleaned it and it started leaking. heres what mine looked like after i fixed mine with muffler cement.
