i don't know why you would want to stick an aftermarket intake on a TBI engine. i don't think it would make any noticeable difference. i think those adapter where originally made for people who were sticking TBI systems on there carbed trucks.

I'm lookin' at the 'Torker II' intake. Something with a bit more grunt and improved flow.

i don't think you will see any better flow. you are still limited by the amount of air and fuel that the throttle body will let in and how dumb the computer is.

The Torker intakes will kill your bottom end. Despite the name they are for high RPM usage and Edelbrock even notes on their website not for use on heavy vehicles.

CW is right there is very little you can do with a TBI equipped vehicle to get more power. The computer also does not respond well to changes and will not "learn" and adjust its tune.

a mild rv cam, headers, free flow aircleaner, and a hotter coil, and maybe a tbi spacer to help mixture be your best be probly 30-45 hp mayb and 40 lbs torque, only other thing i might try on my 91 d250 is mill the heads about 10 and freshen them up should get comp ratio up around 9.2-9.5 and run good fuel, should run prety good im going to try it on mine, my dodge budy, trusted freind that worked on the chrysler assembly line in detroit said dont get carried away with the cam thow it will actually run worse if yah go to far, he was talking aroound 448 lift max (good rv cam) or the computer turns stupid hope this helps w.m.
