Hello there I have a 1987 D150 with the 225 slant six.I have had a problem with the truck stalling when stopping.I thought maybe the float so I put a new 1 barrel carb on after it had a 2 barrel on it.I had the 2 barrel model with electronic choke adjust.I have gone from it stalling when stopping to it wont take fuel after it heats up.It idles great but wont take throttle after its warm.Anyone have any ideas as this truck is just a 2wheel drive but only has 75,000 original miles on it.I hate to get rid of it but cant find anyone to diagnose the problem.I cant find a good carb man here in grove city ,Ohio.any help would be appreciated.I thought of going back to the 2 barrel for starters but would like to get it running good now with the one barrel first.Thanks.
