my truck idle fing in park but dies when put in gear

oh i did that and it flashed 46 times so does it mean fault code 46 so could it be a bad batterie

i was look at my truck i started to move wires and found on that looks like it goes to a sensor unpluged but dont know where it goes could a sensor cause my truck not to idle

the sensors are there for a reason. if they are not hooked up or working properly you can get some strange results. i disconnected 1 of the sensors on the throttle body of a 3.9 once, reved the engine and flames came shooting out the throttle body.

witch sensor did you disconnect that made it shoot flames out the throttle body because i was look at the throttle body the other day nd found a sensor Connecter unconnected

i got the truck to idle in gear after putting a new map sensor in it but know it back fire i have a sensor unpluged buck dont know were it is

i don't remember. it has been too long since i had a 3.9. all i remember was it was on the throttle body.
