Default '92 5.2 in Jeep Wrangler...cruise control question

I've been running this set up for a while now and it's great.
I just finished up the A/C in time for summer.
I'm trying to get the Dodge cruise control to work.
My question is, since I'm running a manual trans and the ECM is auto trans, does it look for a signal at the park/neutral switch.
I believe the cruise is wired correctly, but it's not working.
Thanks!

One of the control inputs for the cruise on a MT vehicle is the clutch switch so that it disengages the cruise if you push in the clutch just like you would when you step on the brake.
