New here,
I have a 1987 w150 with a 5.2, 4 speed stick. Ran it out of gas. Now it will barely run. Replaced wires cap rotor plugs and fuel filter. Starts well hesitates when you try to accerate even in nuetral. It started fine after tune up and started to bog out when pulling out of driveway. Any suggestions???
Thanks,
crock

Is it possible that there are 2 fuel filters in your truck?? I have an inline filter on mine...plus there is one in the factory carb right where the fuel line goes into it.
it might be that putting the new gas in stirred up more junk in your tank and it clogged the new filter you have put in

I Finally working on my 92. The PO installed 2 fuel filters. The stock filter first inline, then to a FS 1234 filter and then to injection pump.
