Default Slow 1st to 2nd shift
I have a 1993 D-150 5.2 with Overdrive auto
The shift from 1st to 2nd is delayd and seems like I have to ease off accelerator to allow shift.
No slippage I can discern .
Any adjustments for a newbie?
Changed fluid and filter. Truck is new to me.

could possibly be the kick down needs to be adjusted. since the newer one like in 93 used a cable instead of metal rods it is harder to adjust.
