Hello everyone, new Dodge Ram owner here, it's a 91
1st Gen Ram Tech'93 & older Rams: This section is for TECHNICAL discussions only, that involve 1993 Rams and older. For any non-tech discussions, please direct your attention to the "General discussion/NON-tech" sub sections.
Good catch on the relay. When the injected 1st Gens won't start, listen for the brief running of the fuel pump when you first turn the key. If you don't hear it you should always check the relays first. Just a tip for the new owners.
Thanks! I do love it and happy to finally have a Dodge pick up although, I NEVER should have gotten rid of my Ramcharger. In case you guys are interested, it was a 1974, 4x4 auto. I swapped in a 426 wedge out of a 1963 Dodge car, the motor had about 425hp, I also swapped in the running gear from a later Dodge truck that was 3/4 ton, had 38.5x 14.5 x15 Super Swampers, on Alcoa Aluminum wheels, Edlebrock manifod and carb, the thing was a beast. It also had an 8in lift but for some reason, that put it in the sky, looked like a 12in lift.
the hole in the center on ford rims are smaller. dodge rims will fit on a ford but ford rims will not bolt onto a dodge unless you get the hole in the center machine to fit a dodge.

Yep, that hole is HJUGE! Reminds me of the trouble I had finding wheels for my 1986 Isuzu trooper, that had a huge hole in the center and even though Toyota wheels were supposedly the same bolt circle, the hole was too small in the center by like 10mm....
