Default 93 scrap

I have a 91 Ram 150 project truck started and acquired a complete 93 Ram150 to use as a parts truck for $100, engine does not run. No title. my question is has anyone ever chopped a vehicle for scrap? Is it worth it? When i pull the parts i need then the 93 will be scrapped.

i would say it depends on what engine that is in the truck. if it has a v8 i would consider trying to get the truck running. the multi port injection v8 has more power. plus if you don't already had a overdrive transmission the 93 should. if you can get it running you could swap it over to your truck and get better gas mileage.

I agree strongly with wolfie. Unless of course you see a hole in the side of the block or something. Yes. Its worth it in my opinion when the vehicle is no longer sell-able for at least scrap price. A lot of scrap yards (or scrappers) around here will pick cars up and pay you on the spot. Expect about $300-500 as long as you leave the motor and all the body parts on it, or at least include ones from the 91. Prices may vary in your area.
