Hello everyone...this is actually my first post and I had a question. I have been searching/looking for hours and found some info but no clear cut answers. I have a 1977 single headlight grille that I want to put on my 84. I have had no luck at all finding parts for the 84 front end as mine is pretty bad. I will also be needing new fenders as well. I am on the search for a core support from a 77 and also the valance. Now if I keep my 84 fenders on I read it will not totally line up. Should I just go ahead and get the older fenders and put them on too? What about the hood latch on the 84 core support compared to the 77? I did read where someone said using those fenders with the 84 door may cause issues. Can anyone elaborate on all of this? The 77 is my favorite grille and decided rather than trying to spend crazy money for 84 parts then I may as well get it to like like how I want it.

i think if you have the right rad support you should be able to swap grilles. i know i saw a 80's ram with a 70's grille but i forget where. i though it looked good.
