where is the SMEC located on a 1993 dodge d-250?

They are all terms for the same thing and yes it is confusing sometimes.

SMEC=PCM=SBEC

Single Module Engine Controller=Powertrain Control Module=Single Board Engine Controller

thanks, lol just bare with me..
i jumped across the temperature sensor on the block and it wouldnt shift past 2nd, so i just completly unplugged the sensor and it shifted 1-od flawlessly. so has something to do with that sensor.,.. another question, there is a sensor plug on drivers side of tranny bout middle ways with an orange/blue wire and a blue wire but not any plug to plug it into. anyone have a clue to what sensor it goes to?
