Default smelling fuel

This only happens while driving, and I wasn't really concerned about it until now, but when driving my truck for awhile I notice the smell of fuel in the cab, it gets rather bad after driving for a while (enough to give me a headache). So my question is: Is what i'm smelling unburnt fuel from a misfire? or a fuel leak, maybe i should replace my fuel filter?

I replaced all the rubber lines on my truck and there was a lot of dry rot.

no but i will tomorrow, i can only smell the gas after it has ran for a while and i have never spotted any marks on the ground that would indicate a leak, i will have to look for the charcoal canister as well.

Default gas smell

Did you ever find your gas smell issue? I'm having the same problem.

well I never found out why I was smelling gas. That is mostly because I crashed and haven't driven it much since. I slid on ice and 360ed into a speed limit sign one icy morning on the way to school Hit right dead center on the driver's door, bent the floor up, put a nice kink in my dual exhaust, and shifted the whole cab to the right. Still runs like a top though! I used her to pull a friend out of some mud. Right now though she is sitting in the backyard with a tarp over her. Got a new 1999 dakota for my daily now.
