Default Why is this thing still running rough?

Hey guys, new to the first gen scene here, as well as carburetors, just recently acquired an 85 D250, with the 318 2 barrel and an automatic trans. In the past couple of months I've put in a new water pump, alternator, voltage regulator, fixed a couple of burned wires, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and fuel filter. I also welded on a new cat. I also sprayed some carb cleaner in it and seafoamed it. Smoked like a big dog. It runs a little better now than when I picked it up, but it still idles very rough, and I'm not sure what I should check next. New air filter as well.

Almost sounds like it is missing, made sure all the wires were routed correctly and not crossed, checked the firing order to make sure I didn't have a wire switched. It idles between 750 and 950, and if i walk away from it, it will stumble down and die. I probably need to have someone who knows carburetors tune it a little, it smells really rich, although none of the plugs have gotten fuel fouled. It also hesitates pretty good leaving a stop, to the point where I almost have to hammer it to get going.
