Sounds like they are a current load problem. WHat are the LEDs rated at for voltage and current?

because of how little power any of the dash lights use led lights should not make a difference except they react quicker which i guess could seem like they are flashing slower. otherwise you may want to make sure none were installed incorrectly. i think ever since i installed led lights every were my seat belt light stays on for a bit longer after i fire up the ramcharger. just the biggest thing you fight with when installing them especially during day light hours. i have had to pull the black plastic piece out of my gauges to make sure i had the lights installed correctly.

@Sniper x
I dont have a clue lol. There just some cheapos I bought off ebay. I checked the listings again and they dont even have that listed.

@crazzywolfie
The signal was definetly way slower, I went outside the truck and it was slow there too. Instead of about 1 second between flashes it was probably about 2-3. They were causing alot of other problems in my '85 too, I havnt fiddled with it again since I did the axle swap though.

if they were flashing slow i would be checking to make sure you don't have a bulb out. any of the dash light bulbs draw so little power that replacing them with led lights should not do anything except take away the ability to dim. maybe you got a heavy duty flasher that is meant for people that tow often.

I use heavy duty flashers because they flash the same speed if 1 or 7 lights are on the circuit.

That's all I use. Cost more than stock but The last one I had to replace in the 96 was a couple of months ago had been in for 11 years.
The ones in my 87 have been in since the truck was new.

I have had six BMW cars (still have one) , and six BMW motorcycles, and the cars all had red/orange Dash lights. It is great because they are still bright but don't cause eye fatigue.

This is not only my newest BMW car, but the one I still have.

And yes it has red gauge lamps.
