Doesn't feel like it, but my truck also emits an assload of heat after having driven for a while.

And whenever I use them I'm out in the country at my friend's place or my grandparents.

Will you list the parts you got for this and where?

Gonna try and pick up all the parts to do this this week. Have you done the headlight upgrade?

He list's everything you need here:

http://wiki.dieseltruckresource.com/...eadlamp_Relays

2) Premium grade headlight sockets.
2) 30-amp BOSCH ISO relays. Get the genuine thing, more on this.
8) 12-10 gauge uninsulated Butt Splice connectors. (I bought High Temperature connectors from a HVAC supply)
1) 30 amp self-resetting circuit breaker. (Truck Parts of RV supply)
4) 14-12-gauge insulated ring terminals.
2) 14 gauge insulated .250 male spade terminals.
8) 12 gauge insulated .250 female spade connectors. (Home Depot electrical department.)
3) Small rolls of 12 gauge automotive wire; you will need Red, Blue and Black

Miscellaneous items you will need,
Shrink tubing
Ty-Wraps (zip ties)
Convoluted tubing (Split Loom)

Tools:
Wire cutters.
Good terminal crimpers.
Sharpie marking Pen.

Not yet, it is fairly expensive and I am getting the headlights next month. I have done them before on a different car, and I can't even tell you how much of a difference it made and on that car, the stock headlights were not as bad as the stock headlights on the truck. EVERYTHING was better, the amount of light, the quality of light and the color of light. Basically, the beam pattern on both low and high beam was brighter and wider and was longer on both and it was probably 3~4 times the length of light from each the dim and bright. Amazing.

Like the ones I posted. So I can see the difference.

Yeah, the split loom looks good. I might do that to mine especially where it goes from side to side. My other wiring is so short I don't think it needs it. Nice job though, how did you do the pull wiring for the relays? Like I did from the stock plugs?

ya. i pretty much did the same as you. if i ever want to convert back to stock it is as simple as unplugging a few thing and then plugging the stock sockets back to the headlights.
