i want to get one of the summit 6900 cams for my truck. it has the exact same specs as the rv cams listed on ebay but a bit cheaper. in my opinion they sound pretty good.

i don't know if you would need new rockers unless one of your old ones are broke. new ones can be kind of expensive

Geeze! How many miles are on the Edlebrock heads? I have run stock rockers that had 100K miles and more on them up to 8K rpm and never had a problem.

i don't think rockers on these trucks really wear out. most people just want to install new rockers to gain a bit of performance but i don't know if $600 is worth the small amount of performance you would gain in a truck.

The only performance issue would be if there were a set of different ratio rockers. As in 1.6 if stock was 1.5. And at that it wouldn't be much of a performance boost.

that is why i said it wouldn't be worth the $600. you could spend that money on other upgrades.
