A518, no O/D.
My transmission shifts fine through first and second, then a hard 2-3 shift (not always, but mostly), and no O/D. Pushing the dash button to turn the little yellow light on and off has no effect. I have been researching this and some folks say to put a toggle switch in the ground side of the O/D solenoid connector. Others say this didn't help.
Has anyone had experience with this who would care to share it with me?

that code 37 is making me wonder if there is possible a bad wire or something. it may prevent things from working properly since your transmission locks up the torque converter after you go into overdrive. before you go cutting any wire though you may want to look at the switch in the dash. for some reason i think if it is unplugged the transmission will not go into overdrive.
lock up= lock up torque torque converter. my 93 ramcharger has one. it almost sounds like i have 5 gears.
if the switch was unplugged the light would not come on but there is quite a few wires running to the switch.

i am not really sure. i guess if the connector in trans only has 2 wire then it may not have TCC. the diagrams i have really don't show that. i guess if you just have overdrive you could probably put it on a toggle switch. i know there is kits you can get for about $100 that would do the same as the computer.

91's do not have a lock up converter. the best way to look into this more is a computer/ scanner such as the snap on mt 2500 or "red brick"
when you connect it and drive around it can show you if/ when the OD is engaged... you might be able to try and manually engage it as well through the menu options.
Best bet would me to make sure all the connections on the tranny are correct and to also verify the kick down linkage is adjusted correctly.
Have you checked the transmission fluid level? with it warm and in neutral?

Changed out fluid and filter today and still no O/D. No access to a MT2500, but there is a trans shop I went to once before who has a Chrysler-2 connector who might be willing to do it for me.
Where is the trans connector? On the Plymouth Voyager I had it was under the dash stuck up behind some trim.
