Default 2nd gas tank ever available on the 1991 W150s?

I'd love to install a 2nd tank like I have on my 1974 Chevy truck. I have 2 23 gal (i think) tanks on my 74 Chevrolegs. I would love to have a second auxilliary tank that fits in a stock position on my truck although it is a short bed.

I can't say that it was ever available.
I DO know that dual tanks were available during the 70's. I know, since my 76 has the indentions inside the bed for an extra tank.

I am willing to bet that if they were, it was on the long beds and probably the 3/4ton and one tons.

Long beds most definitely.
If you can rig up a secondary tank, please post up.

That's something I want to do with my 76 eventually.

i think you should be able to. i think you might just have to find a ramcharger to get the parts off of. i know my 81 has a dent in the bed for a 2nd filler neck behind the rear wheel well.

So would that locate the tank behind the rear end? Where the spare is (should be) on my truck?

ya. the ramcharger stuff should fit there. i think the back end of the ramcharger is the same size as a short box truck. just may want to change your shock if you think they need to be done before you install the tank. having a tank back there makes it difficult to change shocks. i know i changed the ones on my ramcharger and don't ever want to do it again.
