will the torque-flight 8 bolt on to the 3.9? im not sure, but wouldnt anything from 72-93 be usable? if i got an O/D trans, would i have to install something to actuate it manually (i.e and O/D button)?

any 2wd small block v8 transmission should bolt up to the v6. the v6 is pretty much the same as the 318 except someone cut 2 cylinders off. now if you use a transmission out of a 92 or older vehicle you will most likely need to notch the bell housing to make room for the crank position sensor. also if you are doing the swap yourself you may want to make sure you remove the crank position sensor before you do the swap and keep it somewhere safe. a good crank position sensor is usually expensive and they usually get broken when people do engine or transmission swaps and don't remove them.
last questions. is there an aesthetic difference between the 30rh and 32rh? and I have a 32RH could i install a 32RE? or would there be major changes needed.

No you can not.
