Default n241 twin stick /4lo without locked-in hubs

Couple questions. Ive heard the np205 can be converted to a twin stick to seperate low and high and 4x4 and 4x2 but can the np 241?

Also is it ok to use 4low without the front hubs locked in? I cant see any damage being done as long as im not going to fast but I want to see what the general opinion is on this.

No to the twin sticked 241, yes it is safe to use 4-lo without the hubs locked in.

Agree to both!

The only real benefit to having the 205 twin stick'ed is the ability to use just the front axle in case you may have broken the rear. The conversion simply gives you the ability to control the front and rear separately to an extent.
