well could probably do that but you would most likely be dumping fuel out the tail pipe which would make it a bad daily driver. where exactly do you want to see that 300hp because i don't think you will see it at the tires without a lot of work. i know there was a guy around here with a turbo Dakota with a fairly stock 318 and he was only putting out 290hp to the ground with standard transmission. now he has installed a new turbo since the last dyno and he thinks he might be putting out about 325HP but i bet he spent a fair bit of money on the new setup.

290 to the wheels would be perfect for what I use the truck for i never really thought about going turbo.

ya. the only thing is it can get a bit expensive. i forget if anyone has asked him how much he has into performance parts but i would guess he has at least $5000 in parts to get the power he has.

yeah turbos can get pretty expensive I would probably get along better just supercharging it I could probably just change a few internal parts and it should hold a supercharger.
