Question anyone put shackle extensions on?

hey, I was wondering if anyone put any shackle extentions on their dodge.. if you have can you tell me what you did with the rear shackle in the rear.. I think there the same on most older dodges..

I have a 1975 dodge w100 with a 4" block in the back and nothing in the front.. the front leafs are bowing backwards cuz of the engine weight and time. Im trying to lift it so i can flex it out more without worrying about my 33s rubbing.. Im gonna put blocks in the front that match the rear and then put shackle extensions on the front and rear.. If anyone has ever lifted their truck nd wants to give me any tips, im open for them. everything helps..

Thanks guys!

Blocks in the front are baaaaad news man. The front end has to withstand steering forces, not just acceleration and braking like the back. Adding a block lets the front axle wrap, which can really make for some weird handling, as well as risking having the block pop out.
