Question Dana 60 or 44??

Hey guys. Iv been trying to figure out for the past few days if i have a dana 60 or a dana 44 front axle.. i need to know because i want to buy a rough country lift kit and they make different lifts depending on the axle. I have a 1975 w100...

If it is stock a W100 would only have a D44 but you should check anyhow to see if it has been swapped in the past
5-lug nuts D44, 8 lug nuts it could be a D44 or D60
If it has ball joints it is a D44 if it has King pins it is a D60
You could also post a picture

When did you get the truck ? If you've had it for years, then it's probably still the factory 44.
But not all 60's are KP's.

yep, unless it has been swapped, it is a 44.
