Default Replaced Upholstery on Bench Seat

If anyone is interested, I ditched the $20 seat covers I have been using for 2 years yesterday and replaced my upholstery with the Acme U801-0702 Front Charcoal Vinyl Bench Seat Kit sold through Amazon. Total cost, less than $180 and it looks like new now. It took 2 hours. The hog ring pliers provided are worthless, buy another pair and more rings. All that is involved is removing the seat, (4 bolts) separating the bench from the back (2 bolts) twisting off the rings, remove old upholstery and then reverse the process. If anyone is wondering, last years Rustoleum paint job is still holding up.

Here are some photos. One of the seating area, the other of the seat lever area. The bolt that goes through the upholstery is the only one that you need to remove to separate the seat from the back.

Sweet. I wouldn't guess it wasn't factory if I didn't know. Are those seat belts from a 2nd gen?

The seat belts are aftermarket. Bought off the web somewhere. If you can't find some, let me know and I should be able to locate the vendor.

Blue, black, maroon, charcoal and then there are some with some velour inserts that match.

Acme's web page: http://www.acmeautoheadlining.com/19dostcabtrf.html

Buy from Amazon for the best price and if you have Amazon Prime, free shipping.

Not the ones I purchased. I think you will need the 805 series from Acme.

Amazon sells them too. Search on "Acme 805 upholstery" in Amazon.
