Jacob, hi I have a 89 w150 with 250 springs and 2inch blocks, I have the same problem in 4x4 as you I noticed it in my first winter with the truck, I know my gears match cause I installed new 3:55s 2 months before 1st snow, I also havnt been able to figure out what the problem is but will let you know if I can figure it out I wish you luck as well! If you have already found out what is causing this I would love to know what it is, I hate not being able to use my 4x4 especially in winter that's why I bought the truck in the 1st place, haha thank you.
