info on 1981 slant 6
I have found this truck and would like to get some info. It is a 2wd 4 speed. How is the trans in these trucks and power (or lack of lol)? What about mpgs? Is the wheel bolt pattern the smaller size? thanks

IIRC, the wheel bolt pattern for the D-series trucks from 1972-1984 was 5 x 4.5". In 1985 it was changed to 5 x 5.5", and it remained that way until the end of the series in 1993.
As for your tranny, without any other info (casting numbers, etc.) I'm guessing it's an A833.
