shultz i believe you. i also looked all around for wires and plugged holes for previous signs of an O2 sensor and cant find a damn thing. that plus the fsm only showing the six cylinder and CA 318 with one.

but i saw it with my own eyes that there was an X in the column of that inspection book for an O2 sensor. it was a quick glance though so maybe it was for the CA version or i missed an asterisk some where.

sorry if I come off cocky and post a lot of one liners...that's just me I guess I get a lot of people asking me why im so cocky and I guess I don't realize it...

but yeah mine still has the original y-pipe and theres absolutely no holes in it that would signify an o2 sensor, theres just the holes I drilled for backpressure tests I did up here at college before I had to remve the mini ox and punch out the large cat because the substrate was melted in both of them and clogged completely... that's probably why both my manifolds cracked... haha

what insp book? does the x refer to it saying there IS supposd t be one or does it mean there isn't supposed to be one?

youre fine. i really do appreciate the help. i just bought her in november in FL and it's all original except for wheel and exhaust. when i brought back topa and get inpected and emissions i took it to my mechanic because i knew it wasnt PA legal for Dauphin. we were talkimg about the plan for next years insoection so im trying to learn what i want and need. i need cats and he pulled out this big *** book. i'll ask him the name of it, but tim pretty sure the x meant it needed it but maybe x meant optional. we were more bs than really concentrating on it.

k so alldata says no to a truck with an 8500 gvw is how im taking it from what I read off that link page.... and how the heck does a w100 have a 8500 gvw when a w150 is only 6500?

anyway if you do want one even though alldata says it doesn't have any go to rockauto.com the most expensive one is $35.89 and the cheapest is $6.83 plus shipping...
