Will not start in park. Did twice after started in neutral then shut off in park. Under heavy accel engine will begin to catch drop every thing (no sound what so ever basically stalled then catch and keep on going. I did have it stall on me a couple times. It is selective when doing this. Will happen 88% of the time. Codes appear to be 12 and 37 and if course 55. The park problem appears to be a shifter linkage malfunction not fully engaging park. When I crawl under I can push it just a little it looks like it clicks and boom I can start it. There was a bit of a miss when I first put the new coil in. After getting it warm seems to have gone away. When it is misfiring exhaust is very wet to the extent of dripping out the tail pipe and covering my hand it "water" so to say. After romping on it a few times in park It felt as tho it was idling to low and started missing. On my last test run when the truck was hot I could only get it to hesitate on 60% of the time

I'm at a loss too.. Been for a while decided to attempt again. Would a worn timing chain clang or make any noise? I think imma buy some throttle body cleaner and cleaning that up and some injector cleaner. I'm going to do a motor swap soon god damn

k so the missing/skipping sounds like a crank sensor, the whole watery exhaust thing I wouldn't worry about too much that's just a by-product of combustion, mine if you romp it in park or neutral will act like its missing and skipping...makes the truck shake like hell but about a mile down the road it smooths out, the not starting stuff could either just be binding linkage, or a bad park/neutral safety switch... whatever you wanna call it

Where does the crank sensor hide on these la motors? Is there a way to test to see if it is infact that?

i wanna say its on the rear of the engine above the flywheel towards the passenger side but that might be the magnum motors... you just test the resistance of that sensor too
